Why do most people root for the underdog

In my opinion people often root for the underdog because most of us feel like one in real life. When someone who is more likely to lose succeeds it brings us hope. This gives us the impression that we can also succeed in life. Not everyone is born a champion and this often makes us root for the underdog. The majority of people identify with the weaker side because in life they face challenges and sometimes failure. Cheering for the underdog, for example in a boxing match, also brings with it a sense of uncertainty, great excitment and entertainment   which are far more appealing than if you were rooting for an odds-on favourite. All these reasons show that us humans want to see unexpected success.

Procrastinating

I definietly consider myself a procrastinator. I have had a habit of putting things off for as long as I can remember. Every time I get a school assigment I do everything but work for example watch another season of new netflix show or talk on the phone with my friends. Then one day before the deadline I pull an all nighter and finish the assigment at the last minute. This habit is definitly not a healthy one. It messes with your sleep schedule and makes you less effective. I'm trying to change by planning my work and sticking to the plan but sometimes I still procrastinate.
